Appointments

At your initial consultation, an assessment will be made of your needs and concerns. A personalized plan of services will be offered, tailored to your situation. In most cases, estate planning and transactional work are charged on a flat fee basis, while litigation and land use matters are charged on an hourly basis.

The fee for an initial consultation is $300, up to 1 ½ hours.

If you have mobility issues, you may request an in-home appointment.

About

Attorney Christine M. Tree has been practicing law in Northern Worcester County for over twenty years. She has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys since 2000, and has lectured fellow attorneys on elder law, estate planning and probate issues at Massachusetts NAELA meetings and at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education institute; she has been interviewed by Mass Lawyers Weekly on guardianship issues; and she co-authored the “Financing Rest Home Care” chapter of Estate Planning for the Aging or Incapacitated Client in Massachusetts. More recently, she served as a municipal attorney handling all aspects of local zoning, permitting and contracting. Attorney Tree holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross, and a Juris Doctorate from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. She was admitted to both the Maryland and Massachusetts Bars in 1995. Attorney Tree is admitted to the federal bar for the U.S. District of Massachusetts, and is a member of the Northern Worcester County Bar Association.
